HELEN LEE 2015 SPRING & SUMMER FASHION SHOW REVIEW

On the invitation for the show said “Narcissus” and that was the set at Chinese born independent designer HELEN LEE´s collection for SS15. Beautiful decorations from the nature, elegant aromas of daffodil patterns, surrounding this full “selfie” area. Drawing inspiration from Greek mythology, where the handsome Narcissus looked in the water and fell in love with the reflection of his own face, not realising it was purely an image, unable to leave the beauty of his reflection. HELEN LEE brought us in to this forest, a combination of beautiful daffodils decorating the walls where plants where there to give us the ideas that the flowers were made up of glass mirrors themselves, so that the models could “Narcissus” their own appearance, the reflection of their own beauty when walking down the catwalk.
The collection continued to follow the brand's unique personality with HELEN LEE´s classic mint green and smooth lines. The style was slightly retro taken from the1920´s, free flowing pants, skirts and dresses. This season brought on a solid color palette, with daffodils and wave patterns, in woven lace.

In terms of makeup, the models were wearing a stunning vibrant blue eyeliner complimented with a refined but elegant wet hair look.
